Mr. Ooro Owino is the current serving manger to Ndhiwa CFS and has been in office since the inception of the firm on March 14th 2011.

In his 14 years of service, the manager has brought in distinguish excellence and prominence in establishing the fundamental policy frameworks, physical structures, laudable team of experts and a direction that has seen the bank wag through the economics of times.

Pioneering the organization of board committees, introduction of AGM in 2014, introduction of general systems of meeting i.e. the delegate system in 2023 are some of the key governance committees occasioned in his current service. Mr. Ooro has evolved the CFS from a structure of rented shop to now a physical own structure which has customized office operations and service delivery. He has also championed innovation as a way of improving compliance and driving performance, which attained efficiency in monetary operations and management by establishing the audit department.

The existence of the CFS has transformed from a region of Ndhiwa Sub County to now vast regions of Homabay and Migori counties under his effortless dedication of growth in meeting the objective of the firm.

The CEO has a Diploma in Marketing, Higher Diploma in Entrepreneurship, a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce- Finance. He also has a Master’s Degree in Finance.

Mr. Kenneth Ghai Otieno is the head of Finance and Administration at Community Financial Services-Ndhiwa. He joined the CFS as a cashier in 2010 and served for a period of one year to 2011 when he was promoted to the position of a loans officer where he served for a period of five years. Mr. Ghai made significant contributions in mobilizing the many Muunganos that currently form the basis of the first clients that came to be. From Accounts clerk in 2016, he was promoted to Head of Finance and Administration docket in the year 2023 as the head officer where he currently serves to date.

Mr. Tobias Oruoth Ogada is the head of department for Risk and Compliance. He joined the CFS in December 2017 to date.

Prior to joining the CFS in 2017, Mr. Oruoth served in the department of Rural Roads as a supervisor from 1996-2000. His contributions in the service sector at CARE-Kenya in the year 2001-2006 as a Community-based trainer earned him a great icon of the society. He also served as an acting principal of St. Mary Wachara secondary school in the time of the school’s launching and overseen it through to its registration, this was in the year 2008-2012 where he also worked as the school’s head of accounts in 2013-2016.

In 2017 December, Mr. Oruoth joined Ndhiwa CFS as a loans officer where he served for a period of four years to 2021 December. During this time, he was able to pull quite a laudable level of achievement including 15% of client base that exists to date. In his current position, Mr. Oruoth has ensured aligned policies, loan procedures and policies in the Credit Department.

Mr. Revonce Okuku is the head of operations department at the CFS Ndhiwa. He joined the firm at the level of a loans officer where he only served for six months from June 2022 to December 2022. Mr. Okuku was transferred to the teller’s desks where he served as a cashier for six months from January 2023 to June 2023. He was subsequently appointed to manage the internal audit department and severed for a period of three months and was later promoted the head department of operations in October 2023.

Mr. Fredrick Oloo is the Head of I.T, Records and Information at Ndhiwa CFS. Prior to this position, Mr. Fred has held the loans officer position where he served for one and half years. During this time, he ensured the penetration of the firm to untapped regions, specifically, Osiri-Matanda and its environs. He also ensured a seemles flow of loan collections and disbursments and onboarding about 5% of the total clientel base.

Mr. Fred has been at the forefront of revolutionizing the current department that he heads, the IT, wherein he has worked around the system to reduce downtimes and improve client turn around time as they get tailored services.
